PUNCH FOR A PAL - Saturday 27th June - 8:30am - 11:00am
Join Glen Tierney for Punch for a Pal, a community driven event focused on supporting the health and wellbeing of teenagers.
Head down to Savage Boxing Gym on Saturday 27th June between 8:30am - 11:00am and jump on the bag alongside Glen as he raises awareness around teenage mental health and suicide prevention.
This is a free event for young people that includes:
- Free BBQ for all registered kids
- An inspiring talk from Steve McCosker, sharing how to think like a winner and push through when things get tough
- Giveaways and a great morning in a supportive, high-energy environment

+ FREE BUS TO GYMPIE DEVILS GAME
Continue the conversation at our Mateship Lunch at Charlie’s Hotel.
This ticketed event ($35pp) will feature Sam Parker, founder of Grab Life by the Balls who will provide a talk on the importance of men’s and boys’ health and how mateship and open conversations can make a real difference.
Local businesses are invited to get involved through sponsorship and support a cause that genuinely matters in our community.
With the Gympie Devils playing at Jack Stokes Oval on the same day, we’ve arranged a bus transfer following the lunch for anyone who’d like to head across.
Funds raised will be distributed across event costs and charitable contribution, with 60% directed to Grab Life by the Balls and the remaining to other local charities.
